Does anyone know the origins of Political Correctness? Who originally developed it and what was its purpose?

I looked it up. It was developed at the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt, Germany, which was founded in 1923 and came to be known as the "Frankfurt School." It was a group of thinkers who pulled together to find a solution to the biggest problem facing the implementers of communism in Russia.

The problem? Why wasn't communism spreading?

Their answer? Because Western Civilization was in its way.

What was the problem with Western Civilization? Its belief in the individual, that an individual could develop valid ideas. At the root of communism was the theory that all valid ideas come from the effect of the social group of the masses. The individual is nothing.

And they believed that the only way for communism to advance was to help (or force, if necessary) Western Civilization to destroy itself. How to do that? Undermine its foundations by chipping away at the rights of those annoying individuals.

One way to do that? Change their speech and thought patterns by spreading the idea that vocalizing your beliefs is disrespectful to others and must be avoided to make up for past inequities and injustices.

And call it something that sounds positive: "Political Correctness."

Inspired by the brand new communist technique, Mao, in the 1930s, wrote an article on the "correct" handling of contradictions among the people. "Sensitive training" – sound familiar? – and speech codes were born.

In 1935, after Hitler came to power, the Frankfurt School moved to New York City, where they continued their work by translating Marxism from economic to cultural terms using Sigmund Freud's psychological conditioning mechanisms to get Americans to buy into Political Correctness. In 1941, they moved to California to spread their wings.

But Political Correctness remains just what it was intended to be: a sophisticated and dangerous form of censorship and oppression, imposed upon the citizenry with the ultimate goal of manipulating, brainwashing and destroying our society.

why?

i'm not a ladies man, i'm a landmine
filming my own fake death
under an '88 cavalier i go
but-but-but-but nothing but the rear bumper's blown
but i's born for this flight,
united 955 on the fifth of july
back the SFO
i join the dark side
in a thin disguise caught
on consumer grade video at the height

faking suicide for applause
in the food courts of malls
and cursing racing horses on church steps
playing the wall at singles bingo
all time gringo
did anyone hear me cry there
through a toilet stall divider
i swear i care.

i am an example of a calculated birth
to a star chart for clowns, im not
under robins' eggs in a nest, you hit a manilla
envelope with one last little robins' egg in it;

RISK

sometimes a night comes along that lives down in infamy. Where all the pieces fall together, drama seizes to enter the equation, and all types of things happen. You know that "Hey Arnold Episode"where they create a list of great things to happen in a day. Yesterday we fulfilled that unattainable goal. When in an evening, do a group of people get together, play a game of Risk, meet new people, philosophize about classic Nick shows, play a game of snow football, stay up all night, see the sun rise and walk to get a great breakfast at the Evergreen.

fall out of the bubble and open your minds to new experiences.

The Farmer with the magic crop.

life is crazy. life is amazing. life is a funny thing, and always has its way of evening itself out. We, which includes the upper middle class, anyone who lives great, and all the wu bangers out there. There are roughly 6.5 billion people in the world. Some live in palaces, some live in mud huts, and some dont even have a home. Its weird, my close friend always brings up the topic of how socio-economic status is cross- generational. And that is something crazy to think about. So if your ancestors, hundreds of years ago, were of a certain class, then it is highly likely that you will be of the same class. And people try to change classes or to move up in society, but for the most part, families stay of the same socio-economic status.

So what im trying to say is, we just have to appreciate what we have so much, because where we are is not always based on how hard we work, but possibly of what social rank you were born into.

Its not right to assume that just becasue someone is poor or just not heading down the same path as you, they are not working as hard. Cetain people are born with certain permissions to do things in society. All people want to be happy and to do well. We are all family and need to lend a hand sometime.

peace to the wall, introvert.

Risk. the race for world domination.
